Management of Assets Improvement Plan

Outcome
The Management of Assets improvement project achieved the goal of improving the water utility corporation’s asset management maturity score against the Institute of Asset Management’s (IAM) asset management framework. This was identified as one of the corporation’s three critical projects for 2016/17. An independent third-party assessor determined that the water utility corporation’s asset maturity level improved from 1.63 to 3.24 during the 12 months, exceeding the corporation’s original 3.0 target.
